Lewin's Three-Step Model template

For the simplest picture of change there is: loosen the current way, move, then settle the new way so it does not snap back. Leave it alone when your organisation must change continuously; settling is the wrong ambition. Instead Kaizen and PDCA, built for change that never settles; refreezing is the wrong ambition.

Before you fill it in

A blank template is the easy part. The entry behind it covers how to run Lewin's Three-Step Model properly, a worked example, the pitfalls real teams hit, and the situations where it is the wrong tool and something else would serve better.
